Hi, I'm Lilli Markle, from Ontario Canada. I'm a Wellness Expert, Urbanist and Strategic Business Development Consultant committed to creating healthy and thriving communities.

My qualifications...

Honors graduate of the University of Waterloo Ontario in Business and Cultural Management, with Minors in Drama and French.

I've been working for the past 10 years in Business Development with tech companies, government agencies, performing arts organizations, and wellness companies.

200hr Yoga Alliance RYT, Certified Thai Massage Bodyworker,  and Level I iRest Yoga Nidra practitioner with experience in various movement modalities including Franklin Method and Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis.

My past lives...

I have enjoyed multiple careers in Dance & Theatre, Marketing, Event Management, Retail, Startup Biz Dev Growth, Fundraising & Non-Profit Management, and Wellness. All have taught me how to listen to people and identify with compassion what they need. I feel empowered to continue learning about new industries - from technology and mobile phones, to performing arts, to fitness & wellness, to place-making, culture-building and real estate - and finding common threads among them which have helped me to create meaningful strategies and partnerships that help companies and individuals succeed in their goals, establish a sense of community, and hold space for healing, growth and awareness.

Why I enjoy teaching wellness?

The community of like-minded people. The moments of unity when we are all on the same playing field. It’s humbling to learn something new from my students and reminds me of the universal knowledge that we all share and can tap into.

Those lightbulb moments I get to witness when my clients discover a new tool they can use to find ease and self-care in everyday life.

Self care to me is taking a moment to pause and feel a strong sense of foundation in stillness, movement, observation and introspection - the idea of living in the present moment, one moment at a time - and from there we can grow and move forward, and even let shift happen.

And even better when they ask me to hold them accountable for using all the tools in their tool belt. Tough love and repetition is the name of the game!

Those who show up in an effort to change their relationship to their health and wellbeing inspire me.

What you practice, you become.
